FTPS is a great way to upload many video clips at a time.
File Transfer Protocol Secure (FTPS) is one way for Shutterstock contributors to transfer files from their computer to our servers. Although video content can also be uploaded via the web, FTPS is a great way to transfer a large number of video clips at one time.
When it comes to FTPS, there are both free and paid programs available to be used at your discretion. Some of the free options include FileZilla, Cyberduck and WinSCP. Here are instructions for using each.

Step 1: Download and install FileZilla by going to: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
Step 2: Open FileZilla and click Site Manager on the top left-hand corner. In the General tab, enter the following:
Step 3: Click Connect.
Step 4: If you are prompted to “Remember passwords?”, you may select Do not save passwords and click OK.
Step 5: Check Always trust certificate in future sessions and click OK if you get a warning about an unknown certificate. Don’t worry, this is normal behavior.
Step 6: Begin uploading your content by dragging and dropping the files!
Step 1: Download and install Cyberduck by going to: https://cyberduck.io/download/
Step 2: Open Cyberduck and click Open Connection on the top left-hand corner. Update the following settings:
Tip: Always uncheck Save Password, especially if you are using a Public Device.
Step 3: Click Connect
Step 4: Check Always Trust and click Continue if you get a warning about a Certificate Error. Don’t worry, this is normal behavior.
Step 5: Begin uploading your content by dragging and dropping the files!
Step 1: Download and install WinSCP by going to: https://winscp.net/eng/download.php
Step 2: Open WinSCP and update the following settings:

Step 4: Click Yes if you get a warning about a Certificate Warning. Don’t worry, this is normal behavior.
Step 5: Begin uploading your content by dragging and dropping the files!
